Training Centres ~ Pelican
Pelican Cancer Foundation has teamed up with Mr Tom Cecil form Basingstoke and North Hants NHS Foundation Trust and Mr Mark Gudgeon from Frimley Park NHS Foundation Trust. Mr Steve Arnold and Mr Arcot Venkatasubramaniam are now also LAPCO trainers based at the Pelican Centre.
Since May 2008, as part of the National Training Programme these centres have been running clinical immersion courses between the two hospitals and Peripherique courses in partnership with Covidien at Elancourt.
Mark Gudgeon, Tom Cecil, Steve Arnold and Arcot Venkatasubramaniam are happy to offer outreach preceptoring and inreach preceptoring following their Immersion course, or referral to another Training Centre if more convenient.
